A Vietnamese Restaurant
Hi guys, I would like to share my experience with you at a vietnamese restaurant, which is located at Dhoby Ghaut in Singapore. I went there and had a dinner with my vietnamese roommate, named "N" Honestly, I loved their side dishes. As you can see at the bottom, there are fried "Lupiah" which is on the black plate and on the right side it is a salad (shrimps and pomelo fruit) seasoned with chillies and lime. It tasted fresh! The fried "Lupiah" was very crispy and it's my favourite! "Lupiah" contains meats and vegetables or a combination of both. Mine was a combination. However, I did not like my main dish which was the spicy beef noodles. Initially, I was very excited looking at the noodles because I thought the broth would taste very rich. Normally, a reddish broth would indicate that there are various spices added in while making the broth, BUT it's NOT! The only thing I could taste was just pure... SPICINESS ...
